A little about Rosalinda
Roz was born in Harrow, Middlesex. Much of her childhood was spent drawing, painting or making her own books. She loved to create plasticine worlds full of plasticine people. After doing a foundation course at Harrow College of Art she went on to study Graphics and Illustration at Kingston Polytechnic. After graduating she worked for the newly formed Walker Books whose office at that time comprised of two small rooms near Oxford Street.
Roz was a designer who wanted to be an illustrator so she left her secure job to work freelance. She’s collaged and painted her way through twenty five years of book illustration. Her companions along the way have been a series of various house rabbits, who have subsequently been replaced by a husband and three children. She lives on a hill in Guildford close to the Downs where she likes to walk and think, when deadlines allow.
